OSCR residents are seniors 65 years and older. OSCR offers one bedroom apartment-style accommodation (Apartments) or private bed-sitting rooms (Residential Units).  24/7 on-site Supports for Daily Living (SDL) services are available to all clients in the Residential Units and to eligible clients in the Apartments. 

In addition, OSCR provides SDL services to up to 30 seniors living directly in the buildings on Marine Drive in Oakville, known as our Outreach Services.

Supports for Daily Living (SDL) services are funded by the Mississauga Halton LHIN (MH LHIN) and are available to eligible seniors requiring assistance with personal care and homemaking at no cost to the client.  A Supportive Meal program is available for clients at a nominal fee. 

These services assist seniors to live independently for as long as possible and allow us to service local seniors with a wide range of lifestyle, health care and personal need options.

Both physical and psychological health are essential for independent living. We promote and facilitate positive lifestyle choices that include physical activity, attractive, nutritious meals, an active mind, social connections, volunteer activities and regular health check-ups.
